So, I recently thought that I might want to start opening commissions for little figurine sculptures, given that sculpture is one of my favorite media (I loved making my Seba and orca ones) and that I have a little more time now than in the recent past. However, I worried that I might not be able to replicate past successes, and that I needed more examples of my work before I opened commissions.
And for such a demonstration piece I needed a subject that would show me doing another species and working with more dynamism. After a couple minutes" thought, I realized that there was a clear choice: Buck Hopper. As the creator of the this massive community project and pastime we know as the FBA and thus the person to whom we are all indebted, buckhopper was a perfect subject. Thank you!
(I picked the San Jose Thrust uniforms because they"re the ones that I most associate with Buck. I apologize for any inaccuracies or implausibilities in the pose or base!)
---
And with that, I"ll be opening for figurine commissions. They will be somewhat pricey; after all, not only do they take a long time (probably 10-15 hours each, based on complexity), but there are materials and shipping costs involved. There"s also the caveat that I will finish a commission, but it"s on my schedule; it might be a while before I complete one! If you"re interested, please let me know.

I did do this! In fact, I think sculpture is my favorite artistic medium. It's just more time-consuming and expensive than the other media I work in, and thus less common. :)
Not sure. Probably one of the new draftees I'm working on, if you want to stick to the sports theme
What's nice about sports, besides the aesthetic, is that they provide a variety of cool poses! So making you one would be really fun :)
That'll depend on my schedule and whether people commission me! :)
*shuts up*
*takes your money*
*all $11.3M of it*
*makes a Coby Carson figurine*
*with accessories: broken surfboard, explosion, and legal documents*
(In fact, I did start a football player figurine months back... but didn't come anywhere close to finishing. Coby would be a fun one!)

Wow. Awesome job on this. How much are you asking for you to make one?
Ay, it'd be a good amount. These take a while! Probably around $200.
For that amount. I say that's a good price for how detailed it is and everything. Wish I had that much to spend though
