The second episode in a series of six short stories that serve as an introduction of sorts to a brand new universe/world of my own tentatively titled "The Myth of the Pearl."

The last time we've had a glimpse of the mythical Pando race. Now we dive into the heart of the mainlands to catch a glimpse of the wildlife and discover the presence of an independent and tight-knitted race: The Wolfens.

For a long time now I've been working on a project for a brand new original world/universe to call my own. A vast world where magic once existed, its inhabitants now struggle to survive in a world where magic no longer empowers and guides them, abandoned by the gods and spirits that once protected them from the elements.

For a project still in its infancy, the names, locations and lore present in this written work may not be final, and isn't and shouldn't be treated as canon unless noted otherwise.
