Here is the story of this picture of Liane: She leads mortal souls to the afterlife by luring them with the light of her candle, once they've been seduced and brought to the other side, the poor soul becomes a pearl, and is added to the collection strung about her graceful neck. (you may notice that she has a nice long string of pearls too)
She's a little late for this year, since it began on Saturday November 1st and ended Sunday November 2nd. But small matter. The Mexican Catrina look is popular all year long here.
