the poster i did a while ago for the purpose of next year's gdakon. it's also used as leaflets, some of you might have them already at home. also presenting next year's Gdakon's main theme: The Jungle.
what i did here was my firstreal attempt to digital painting, but after what id created tonight, i know now that i have still long way in front of me, though i can proudly say that i'm stubbornly taking steps on that road. I'm sick and working myself off today at other things, and i just realized that i never uploaded this piece. i will process on commissions and auction as soon as i can.

The detail is amazing. I'm very impressed. :D I don't make enough effort to do these things. ;_; I get halfway then... YOUTUBE.
Love the detail where it counts, and the lack thereof in the foreground/ferns/framing... She looks gorgeous!
wow if this was you first real attempted at digital painting I am focking miles away trying to catch up. It is really good to get more into the painting genre because I think that there is a lot amazing lighting effect and tone and styles...not to mention more money too. ^^;
and like heeeell more work, believe me =^= though sometimes it's nice to actually "paint" something, even if i never was anything into real painting.
I had the same feeling about painting too and well you are damn right that is hell of a lot more work but to got to admit the results end up looking really good, so its worth it in the end. In digital painting at least you got ctrl z to save your butt.^^;
hah, so true. that's probavbly i rather choose creating digital art over traditional ^^;
Well now days you get things printed to look like traditional work, just cash a bit money. Still I got to admit that you painting skills are amazing thou...I want to steal you talent.^^
