This is the longest and probably best macro/micro/foot animation I've done so far. I've focused on the animation only this time, thats why inking and coloring are left out because this is basically just minion work now... However maybe I'll find the time some day to do it. :) I'm pretty content with the result as the biggest challenge was animating the foot stretch/wiggle and the grinding. Also I tried to put in a relatively high amount of realistic details with the cars. However, the slow movements were a pain to animate and it turned out to be around 200 individual frames in the end... Special attention also went into the rendering of the weight as I really want one to feel that the whole body weigh is pushing down here.

Wow this is incredibly awesome to watch. I really liked what you did with the expression and how you showed off how you did the animation a bit in terms of sketchiness. It's really really cool and very detailed! Lovely work Thaz.

Aw man, allow me to add to the crowd of people who can't get over how amazing this is! :B At this point, coloring and inking would just be a crazy thing to ask of somebody, especially with all the fluidity of this animation, hahah.

Thanks. Inking and coloring would be just really time consuming and any slightly skilled artist could do it. So I just leave it now. :) Of course it would get much nicer like this^^
Pretty much! Of course it's doable n' all, though considering the length and fluidity of the animation, it's certainly excusable to leave it as a sketch for the time being, hahah.

oh WOW :O That is some very fluid work! This is a wonderful piece.
I'm fairly certain my favorite part is when he drops his heels down. It just really shows the weight behind his step.

Very professional and almost perfect animation. I can imagine that this must have taken quite some time to accomplish. Maybe you can find someone else who is willing to do the lines and/or flat colors and slap some sound effects on it too ;)
Yeah sound effects would be the last step for this. I don't think that I'll find someone for this job^^
thaz, I want to thank you for making this animation because it's absolutely stunning. Now I would like to go into detail what makes this animation so uniquely marvelous from your other animations and others I've seen on FA. The still perspective is good since we can only see the crushing in action. I love how he crushes the fourth car from the right with just his left heel & how he casually stretches his toes right before shifting his foot up very quickly. It's the small details that I love. Speaking of which, you rendered his facial expression very well & it feels very suitable for what follows up. The casual crushing & grinding of the last three cars is satisfying to watch considering with how well you built up the anticipation in just around ten seconds. And the footprint amongst the destruction at the end is the cherry on top. I admire your effort it took to bring this animation to life & any further adjustments or coloring is entirely up to you. I would imagine the process was arduous & tedious but it paid off dividends.

It's so funny how he let his heel hit that car, wiggle his toes & grins as he about to crush the rest. I would be like, "Oh Crap! Exit stage left!" & get out the car before its too late.

Exceptionally well done. You certainly got the feeling of weight down. The individual bouncings of the cars is nice. Great job keeping the volume of the foot when twisting and wiggling it. Very, very nice.
Glad someone noticed this detail. Things like the car bounce should rather be simulated then animated, but I went trough the trouble^^

DUDE!! This animation you made have a master level! I think I never see a animation like that! reminds me one of those short clips of old cartoons movies.

Very nice. Kinda reminded me a tad of that '3-in-1' animation I did years ago. The fluidity of your animation is wonderful to see. Just a question of how much more work is involved for you in putting colour down...?

This animation is really good! :) Bet you had fun doing the anticipation of the last step, as Draxi contemplates those cars with a grin on his face. x3 Really liked the toe wiggle as part of that anticipation and then the slow crushing.

I've had this open for almost a month now and all I can say is I'm blown away at the detail in this.
I love how you have the cars lightly bounce when the character is farther away then bounce more and more with each step!

That subtle angle changue in the feet right before it crushes those poor cars is superb! And the choice of adding his expression (which is also masterfully animated), right before he steps on them is very good. All in all, 11/10
man i wish there were more like this, but more focused on your sexy feet for maybe 30 seconds
god this is so beyond hot. I hope to see more of this! probably with live micros x3
