doodled this for me.My bird Lulu died today. We rescued her a few months ago from really horrible conditions. She lived the last few months of her life bringing me so much happiness, joy and so much laughter. She had a strong spirit, and a personality that lit up the room. Having her made my life so much brighter. I grew a new respect for birds and the people that love them.
I will miss her every day. Every time my parakeet makes her cockatiel noise my heart aches. I'll miss her pitching a fit for millet, and climbing up my desk and into my lap when I was drawing. I'll miss her stealing food off my plate or out of my hand. I'll miss her chewing on my hair. How she would practically leap off of the cage onto you when you walked by.
I love you so much Lulu. Bubs and I will miss you so much.
(Too sad to work today, probably gonna cry myself to sleep. Sorry.)

You don't have to apologise, nobody with a heart could blame you for feeling like this, especially with everything else that has been happening recently too.
My condolences for the loss of your feathered friend. I'm sure she's chirping and eating millet up there in the bird heavens.
And ice cream sandwhiches. She really liked the cookie part of the cookie ones.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, I wish I was better with words to try and comfort you at least a little but even if she's gone she's not lost, you'll always have those good memories with each other and while the pain may dull in time your fondness for Lulu never will, she'll always be your happy cockatiel and no passage of time will ever take that away from you.
Keep strong, it will hurt lots and lots now, but the ache will pass eventually.

And she probably felt the same about you. She got to live the rest of her few months of living full of love and happiness and she most likely passed on knowing someone cared and loved her and gave her another chance.

I know how that feels. I lost one of mine on the last day of school. It's never easy moving on.
