Icon warmups! The bigger version of the icon I use, since the icon hides a lot. Jax cosplaying as Dr. Franken Stein from the anime Soul Eater, who is so awesome, he's actually smaller bits of awesome stitched together to make one large awesome, then topped off with an awesome screw through his skull. So.. he's a lot of awesome.
The show is great, if you happen to like the idea of mixing squareEnix(Who actually had a hand in it's creation), Dr. Suess and Tim Burton, then throwing in a decent supply of typical japanese fanservice. Great animation, great chars, great comedy.. expect more fanart.

Oh.. and Muraki from Yami no Matsuei/Decendants of Darkness? Wow, hey.. I can't beleive I didn't see the connection. They are pretty alike, looks wise! Muraki's ironically one of my favs from that series, along with Watari. <3

Dude, I haven't been able to get decent sleep cause of that show. I'm total sucker for Soul, just cause of his design, and he can pull off being cool.
There needs to be more. 8( Myself and a friend have become hooked, and we're resteless waiting for the next ones to be released. MOAAAARRRRRRRR

Soul Eater is kind of the antithesis of that genre. It doesn't take itself very seriously at all, and many of the characters are really parodies of existiny stereotypes--Black Star, for instance, is clearly poking fun at Naruto and yet can pull it off better than what he is making fun of.
There's also a healthy dose of fanservice, which I think is another bit of fun on the creator's behalf. None of the characters are perfect; indeed, they all have some sort of problem or issue thats often blown comically out of proportion, and lingers; Death the Kid is obsessed with symmetry and is thoroughly neurotic, despite his power and standings within the overall world.
Its also just plain ol' fun to watch.

Hm.. If you don't mind cutesy-dark comedy stuff. There are a few cliche anime-staples in it, but i personally love it.
as long as the Komedy outweighs the pissy hyperpowered emos that litter everything nowadays ((seriously, there was one hideing in a dumpster at my work all depressed cause his magic wings where blue and not orange or something >:/ ))
