Enjeaux the fire fox/dragon creature in his natural jungle habitat! So many colors in this one, I really couldn't limit my pallet. And all that color mixed with shading pushed my into new territory with markers. I love drawing and coloring jungle environments, but they're so demanding =P
This is my half of a trade with redwall151 who works INCREDIBLE wonders with color and is definitely worth a look!

Nice detail there with the butterfly :) Small random stuff like that is always fun to see in a picture!
I have this habit of sticking little bugs in my drawings whenever possible :)
Thanks! :) Ugh, getting details into an aceo size requires... a steady hand XD
So many details x.x;;; wow just wow lol It's very nicely done, Kal! I didn't even know you guys were having a trade :)
I also approve of the blue lighting/shading touch there, it really stands out with the green the most, I like it!

It's kind of an old trade XD She gave me her half about 5 months ago, so that should be an indication of the rate I've been going at!
And I'm glad the blue lighting doesn't look too jarring :) I want to have more strong colored lighting in my drawings in general.

Aww, yea! I just saw Enjeaux for the first time last night in ink sketch form, pre coloring in redwall151 's gallery. Great to see him colored. And I am glad you could do another ACEO again!!
I really like how you colored the tree trunk, and the kind of misty, pale green background :).

She did an amazing job on this latest Enjeaux drawing of hers. Mine is a mere tribute to that bundle of fluff and color XD Yeah, it was a long time coming, since the trade was set up around the beginning of the year, but now that things are more or less back on track artwork is happening again :)
Looks incredible . Such rich colors and beautiful textures. Wonderful job. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! I certainly hope I'm able to :) I may even have another colored picture to upload soon!
An ACEO is an artist trading card the size of a regular playing card. Tons of artists use them for relatively small art trades, or sell them to others.
