This comic was made almost 10 years ago and remade roughly around 1.5 year ago. I"ve been struggling with finishing this and posting it online as I was both embarrassed and scared of people"s reaction. First feedback I ever got was actually hurtful, but at the end of the day I don"t care... those are my childhood memories which translated into a comic at the time when I was 15, when my life wasn"t exactly great... needless to say, this is a precious memento which gave me strength to carry on. And I hope you"ll enjoy a bit of brainless childishness =3

There is nothing bad about childish dreams for one thing, and especially not with TLK! There is nothing wrong with teen or grownup dreams either, whatever people said when they hurt your feelings back then; let me tell you, it must've been something born from envy or something like that. Can easily picture me in comics like this when I'm zoning out even today. And I've been arout tlkfaa and all that too ... long time.
Thank you for your comforting words. :) The hurt wasn't really deep, but was enough to deter me from submitting it anywhere. At the end of the day, I'm not ashamed of it. ^^ The attacks focused mainly on the fact that the comic involved a human instead of a lion, or that some panels were referenced. Yet as a kid I didn't want to be a lion... I accepted who I was, I didn't pretend to be anything else so I never made a lion character to interact with tlk universe.
I hope you ignored them and I'm glad you decided to submit this comic.

great resembling of the classic TLK art style, you make it look easy(and its not), and that makes you even greater.

The reason for the resemblance is my referencing the original movies and artwork. It's not always easy, but fortunately most of the lines have been made already 2 years ago. It's just finishing touches I have to apply here and there :)

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this. We all had a childhood 'imaginary friend' and good old Sims was mine XD
Yes, more than one actually. :) When I was young I drew and written a lot of stuff set in TLK universe. This was just one of such things I have remade more recently =3
