Excellent work on both pose and expression. The lowered, tense position of astrid's body radiates tension , like a coiled spring while the splayed claws indicate a desire to use them in the fullest sense. The expression is an intense focus of rage and menace, an anger with no sense of hesitancy or defensiveness. Whomever Astrid is looking at can only hope for one mercy- and that's a relatively quick death....which doesn't seem very likely.
all that, and one little detail: the little highlights on the tongue. it looks wet, ready to taste one's blood.

Woah, I definitely love the details on her tongue, and for some reason, the way her lip goes forward to bare her teeth. Her toes look very sturdy too (strange comment! but it's true).
My first thought was Dr. Smith, from the old 'Lost In Space'.
