Grabbed a base from DK for this since the studio wanted these built on resin. This is the last of the three heads commissioned for a stageplay, they wanted an aslan-like white lion. The mane is NFT, the rest is fleece, apoxie and airbrushing.

Brushed out fleece for the face? Very neat, I like the look. It is a lovely lion head.
oh goshh, i love the eyes so much! He has so much character! What's the play?
I have no idea, I don't know if it's unprofessional to ask or not, the contract was pretty srs bizness so I was just like HERE IS MY LIST OF THINGS HERE YOU GO SIGN THIS OKAY HERE ARE YOUR HEADS THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I'll see if I can get some photos from the play and puzzle it out from there XD
<3 Aww hardly :3 But that is the highest of compliments and it totes made my day
SCREAMING AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH AND THEN YOU MAKE THIS OH MY GOD MY BBY
It's okay, I've been saving for a suit from you for a while. If I get this job then it's a go!
OMG. NEED. The brushed fleece looks amazing. Did you do much additional padding for the DK base? I bought one at FWA to play with sometime, so I'm curious! Tremendous work, as always.
Not much, just a little around the eyebrow and cheeks and chin, her big cat base is pretty close to what i wanted for this so it was an easy work day foaming it XD And yes brushed fleece makes the best short hair :D You should play with the base you got they're awesome.
NO I MEAN ALL HER STUFF IS TERRIBLE

I was tempted to do shaved fur but I think the fleece makes the NFT look longer and more mane...maney.. yes fleece is rockin for faces. I used it on the full length of the foxs snout too, and it blends really well when brushed out with shaven CRs.
I absolutely love it, the little bit of fur coming back down onto the nose just adds so much!
Airbrushing is just a beautiful way to add those natural markings.

wow that tools bass ass loving the details specially the lips X3
Never would have guessed the face was fleece - that is some incredible airbrushing!
Very awesome! I really want to get a more realistic version of my lion like this one day!
So beautiful... This is why I want to have you make my wolf suit.. but it'll be a few years until I can afford it. I already did an estimate of price via your hands, and it rests on 6'000-9'000... Daaaaamnit....
Absolutely stunning, must watch you and see if i cant get a commission off you
Probably 900 since there's a fair amount of NFT goin down
This is absolutely incredible. You capture bone-structures so well through what i presume is air brushing? Particularly here, and have definitely replicated the lion's regal, though strong features.
Thank you! Yes, airbrushing :3 Accentuating the angle of the jaw and cheekbones can change a character so much, especially in 3D! Thank you for your kind compliment!!
