That's pretty nice, i like how it came out. Very neat looking and the coloring is awesome.
good job with the markings and giving the eyes point, the beak came out amazing and the junction between the beak and head looks near perfect.
Possibly the best avian head I've seen made.

thank you so much! I really really enjoy seeing how close I can get with the shapes and anatomy of the different animals I make. Avians are by FAR the most fun!
way better than my work, i have worked for puppet studios and one time we needed an eagle head for a childrens puppet show, i did the layup in fiberglass and it came out exactly like the drawings, but the drawings were off and it made the whole thing look kinda silly, but than again, it was a kids thing and meant to be silly and not realistic.
I really love the way your stuff comes out, i enjoy the un furred bases as much as the finished products, seeing how far back you extend the pivot point on the jaws rather than trying to retro fit the pivot point to the human head like everyone else. Very fun very awesome stuff and it looks like you have a lot of fun doing it, rather than just cranking things out for people so you can get on to the next project. Great attention to anatomical detail and very well executed models. I am actually really impressed by your work lol, I stopped tooling around the main page when I saw this head and was like "Holy shit, finally, someone who knows what the hell they're doing." lol

Daaaamn... yeah, if i weren't impressed by your work already, certainly am now :) Astonishing :)
Ok the mask is beautiful. But i think i have a fear of oversized birds now..
I'm torn between beautiful. and majestic. lol

First jay suit I've seen and it's amazing <3 Love your realism!
Love this!! I worked with scrub and blue jays for a few years, and this looks like the real deal. The eyes are perfect. And the transition of the 'feathers' to the beak is seamless. I can tell you really studied up on your avian anatomy. Amazing job as always, but this one takes the cake.
Wow, I actually love it.
Not kid friendly, but totally cool!
