So been doing a play through of the game Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future with some friends and ended up running into one of the various antagonists of the game. The Foe "bat" and we thought....HEY there is barely any art for these things!?!?!? So we decided to try and fix that a little. Mines just a little sketch I wanted to throw out here.

Since the Models of the creatures themselves are so flat and un-detailed there was room to throw in a bit of detail and add a few other opinion based anatomical changes to suit the creature's attack methods. The main difference mine has in comparison to the game model is the mouth. I went for a more Octopus like appendage for the mouth. Or a better example would be Orga from the Godzilla franchise with his very expandable mouth.

Over-all I thought he was fun to mess around with ^^
