This is my second tail. I wanted to make it myself but we kept putting it off until my mom made it for me a day before I left for Morphicon. Not all the fabric has the texture I want as only the orange and the cream are suedecloth while the yellow is felt.

There is a length of the galvanized steel wire I use for weaving mail in there to give the tail a more realistic look, but even the slightest bend will kink the wire. Don't worry, there's a plastic tip on the end so it doesn't poke out my tail's point.
