Cap"n Blackbird, scourge of the seven seas.
For Furthemore 2014"s conbook. The theme was "Pirates vs. Ninjas", and their mascot is a raven, so I ran with it. Probably I will draw more of this guy given the chance; I like his design and have a dozen or so pirate-y scenelets I"d wanted to draw him in.

He rather reminds me of the Spellsinger series, the sort that'd have gone broadside to sword with Cap'n Corroboc (a literal parrot pirate, and a nasty piece of work).
Oh hey! I hadn't realized you did this! I glimpsed it when I walked past the display and immediately liked it. I was busy working the Zoo so I had to have a friend of mine do the bidding on it and it's companion. Thankyou for this contribution to the auction, I look forward to displaying this once I get it properly framed.
Ah, strolling down memory lane. This and the companion burb are the front door guards at mine and JohnnyVulpine's house since winning the auction on them both that year @ Furthemore.
