Sitting down with a cup of coffee, opining FA and seeing this. Priceless timing
Decaf frightens me. You can trust a guy with a cup'a joe. But yah can't trust a decaf drinker. No telling why they're sippin' it.
Well, speakin' as one of the cursèd hordes...
I drink decaf because I love coffee, but caffeine screws me over in a especially unpleasant way. I get a rush from it, and that's all good, but then I'll spend the next two to four days oscillating between exhaustion, hyperactivity, elation and profound gloom.
So decaf is like nicotine sweets: not satisfactory, but I take it to fend off the urge for the real thing, because I know that won't do me no good.

My normal coffee was switched for decaf one time. I didn't notice. =o.o= Then again, I was only drinking a couple cups to wake up, not my semi-usual entire pot. Maybe I'd notice when 12 cups didn't give me the twitches. :^
Decaf or not, coffee is my sleep drug, a cup or two and I'm out like a light...Yeah I'm weird XD
Meh, I'm the same with soda and the like... Settles my nerves.

While I learned to hate the taste of coffee in the navy, I drink lots of cola for my caffiene and sugar fix. If I wanted to drink something without caffiene and sugar, I'd have water with a splash of lime juice.
This is what my reaction was when I realized they made a decaf 5 hour energy shot. What's the point. That's like skittles without sugar!
Decaffeinated Diet Coke to me is like Lite Beer. I'd rather drink plain water if I had a choice.
