I just got my new friend yesterday.
Haven't taken care of a pet for a long time so this has been quite exciting for me.
Her name is Lilin and she is 4 months old approx.
I THINK she is a girl.
I got her from a generic petstore where the birds are not hand tamed and getting her out of the petstore cage was a flurry of feathers and screaming. I hope this wont be too much of an issue for me to tame her myself though.

There is a fine combination of sucking up and being dominating over her that you will have to guage if you are going to be friends with your bird. Good luck, and never underestimate millet on occasion!
I have not had experience with birds before. I am more of an iguana person. Il need all the luck , research and tips I can get. :d

It's almost as if the bird was controlled by Twitch and only wanted to eat the seed in the first place.
I've had plenty experience with birds of all types from domestic parakeets & cockatiels to wild songbirds, all the way up to hawks & owls. If ever you have questions, you can always ask me, lol! This so adorably accurate too!
I had a cockatiel when I was a kid and he was an amazing pet. Very friendly with everyone in my family, he could whistle a bunch of songs that my dad taught him, and he'd love to just sit on your shoulder on on top of the computer while you were working.
