So Colors! 3D is a 3D drawing program on the 3DS which is pretty cool! I bought it for $9 in the online 3DS store.
My username is Naira on there if you have/get it and want to follow me or see these pics in 3D!
I did this as an early bday halloween gift for Remmms :3
You can see my 2D gallery here: http://colorslive.com/author.php?id=146039 which you can also see the timelapse video for the paintings!
Now off I go to work on that steampunk pic for Remmmy :3

All her strands of hair are rockin'. And that chicken looks good in green, great work!
How does Colors! 3D work? Do you paint all on one layer, or can you use more than one layer? What kind of tools does it have? What about zooming? I'm curious about it now. :3
There's 5 different layers, and the layers appear 3D! You can choose what depth the 3D is too, or simply work 2D if you wish. It has a hard round, airbrush and textured brush, and an eraser. You can change the size and flow/opacity of the brush and eraser. It has a colour picking wheel. It has undo/redo. Yes you can zoom and move the painting around while zoomed in. You can save it to your SD card in either the small original size or in a high res file (like 1600x1080). You can choose widescreen, portrait or landscape canvas. And you can give it a title and description to upload to the website if you make an online account, and it comes up with the video and how long it took you to draw as well.
I think there's also a "draw with a friend!" thing but I haven't opened it yet so I dunno if that's a local or internet thing. Sounds like a cool feature though!
If you have a 3DS and open a web browser on it, you should be able to go to the website and see pictures in 3D so you can see what I'm talking about :3

Wow, it has a lot of features to it. Impressive. I'll have to check this one out in more detail. Thanks for the info! :D
no worries :D I like it cause I can take my digital art with me wherever I go X3
Oh it doesn't have much/any pen pressure though but it's not too much of an issue if you learn to work around it!

I'm pretty heavy handed, so no pen pressure isn't an issue. :D
it's more the lines come out all the same width i mean X3
You tempted me too badly. I bought Colors! I'm still messing with it, but... I'm in awe over the stuff people are doing on there. People have way too much skill (and time) on their hands!
pfffttt I know right!? it's what inspired me to try harder to draw properly on there lol. If you go to the main menu of the game and click "extras" it shows you a professional artists examples and he makes me want to cry with those landscapes ;D;
i can't seem to pull up your gallery on my 3ds. i try the search feature but it just pops up with what i typed and nothing happens.
I had the same issue when I tried to look up a friend :/ weird!
