Okay . . . even I'll have to admit I like how this came out.
Ideka (the wolf) is the Boss of Kurikuto (I have formerly called her job title Moderator, for the few people keeping up) and Bastion is the dragon that is part of her entourage that makes sure her stuff gets carried out.
Bastion isn't a mindless lackey, despite the usual stereotype that dragons have less wits than other species. He can't help but wonder if they're right, those other roko who say that Kurikuto doesn't need a Boss. And he's afraid that Ideka has worked herself into the ground. But it's not his place to say.
Although the proper form of address is 'Miss Ideka', Bastion always calls her 'My Lady' instead.

I love how you make the characters really believable in pieces like this. I think its the expressions.
Wow... I like the use of internal lighting with the PDA. Nicely done.
The lighting is what really makes this piece sing. Even with the bright lights in the background, the dark foreground seems like a kind of sanctuary. I love the soft light from the image screen on the bed, too. Excellent work.

The anatomy and the light defining it, especially on Ideka, is stunning. I love that it's a complete scene-- it's something I need to work on, myself. The interaction is awesome, and I love how it's communicated even through one image how Bastion is mindful of her needs.

I love the light coming off of the Ipod looking thing. Really characterizes the whole piece.
The way the screen reflects on her face is neat, and the whole way she's fallen asleep while working is captured very well.
I really like those dark shades of blue.. It gives it a real "cool" feeling, you know what i mean, i find the bg contrasts well from the forward picture too.. pretty awesome stuff rick! :)

The more I look at this, the more I'm drawn into it. The lighting, mood, situation, and beautifully drawn characters all lend a sense of realism, an air of believability to this that I really enjoy.

Her hips were quite noticeable to me. They're really cute and curvy. Like she could swing them at me and cause me to lose my balance, and then everyone would laugh as I fall down. But I'll show them. I"LL SHOW THEM.
