SO I'm working at the Del Monte Grill on the Del Monte golf course where pebble beach is hosting the Meccum car auctions for the Concours D'Elegance. I heard rumor the CA Spyder used in the movie Ferris Bueller's day off was going up for auction but I had no idea that its was being sold by the Meccum Auction Co. So imagine my surprise as I walked by this BEAUTIFUL car on my way to our cash concessions tent at work today. My jaw it the ground you guys. I of course have photos of me with the car and everything is as it was in the movie. the one that gets ruined in the end is a fiber glass replica on a steel frame. the certificate of authenticity is posted on the left.
