I'm okay with lizard tits - I mean, you can play as lizards in the first place, how cool is that? - but I'd much prefer it if they didn't have the tits. It adds to their exotic-ness.

But then, giving orcs and nords D-cups, imperials and redguards c-cups, the elves and khajiits b-cups and argonians no tits (with the rest of their physique changed too, orcs thicker, elves skinnier, etc) would be pretty awesome, and add some much-needed variety to the people of TES.

No, not the way the game's coded.

Seriously, argonians... have the wonkiest coding in Skyrim. They're unique in that their heads aren't a separate object from their body unlike every other race in the game, but their eyes and teeth are, for god knows why. This is the origin of the bug where if you decapitate one their head just plain disappears, because they're done in such a bizarre and wonky way.

(and given there's like seven friendly argonians in the game most of the ones you meet you'll be fighting/cutting the heads off of)

I still mostly miss the Morrowind Argonian design. I don't care if they couldn't wear shoes or wear closed helmets, it made more sense.

Also, I would always mod in one of the Gondolier Helms for them so they'd have a badass sakkat.

I would assume they are used for the exact same purpose any other mammal has them. Is there any Elder Scrolls lore that covers Argonian child rearing habits? Why does everyone assume they don't care for their young the same way we do?

As far as i know (and i could be wrong) Argonians are seriously convoluted when it comes to their prepubescent growth, nurturing habits and hybrid lizard-mammalian anatomy.
Canonically, some (or all?) of them don't even have nipples, so the breasts are just this... 'thing' that's there. Some Argonians are born as eggs, some are born from the womb, they get their names in a ceremony that involves drinking some crazy magical sap from a tree called the "hist", the effects of which transform them to look more lizard-like, and that same hist is usually cited as the be-all and end-all answer to every weird question that can be asked about their race: "hist did it"

Oh. Right. The Hist. I'd totally forgotten about that part. I guess an Argonian may in fact have good cause for confusion about their own anatomy. Nothing has to make sense when there's magic involved. They could be entirely without purpose. Simply vestigial or something.
So in that case, I'll go with... fat reserves. She's clearly in saucy tavern wench attire and that's a burgeoning beer-chest if I ever saw one.
