Edit:// F5!! I really like this picture so I went back and changed some things to match his new look. I made the uniform his standard fieldgreen uniform and changed the collar colour from beige to white.
It was hard to change much else with the blurs, since the blur layer was all the original colours. Because of this the collar still looks beige-ish and I couldn"t actually get rid of the red armband. (Basically I was too lazy to re-do the blurs, shh)
I also made the scars on his face look like cuts since I removed the scars in the final design.

Ignore the beard. Lets just say there was no chance to shave properly in the last few months in Berlin, idk. XD

Trying to kick my "art block" (I guess?) out of my head and it kind of worked... I revamped my old character, Adolph Kruger, a bit.

I"m quite happy with the shading. I tried something new and experimented with certain things and I think I"m happy with it.

It"s a bit bland in context though, I was going to add some text to try and explain it some more; I couldn"t think of any.

I imagined it more as a last stand between a couple Soviet soldiers and him in the battle of Berlin, 1945 but I can"t really feel it, haha.
