Teiirka (2011-2013)
Inspired by Sistine Chapel, this art is an anthropomorphic creation. I love the detail, and the reinterpretation of the art in Furry terms. One furry said "Put this one your ceiling!" (hee!) Teiirka is a very talented artist, who has done some of my favorite fandom art. When I posted this on Google Plus, it briefly made the G "What's hot" list... such a strong positive response. Go show Teiirka some love.
My favorite of his pieces is here (also owned by Spottacus):

Thanks. Take a look at the other pieces I have of his (posted in the description above) or go to his gallery... his work is really awesome.
Yeah, I agree. Teiirka was asked to do a full freedom commission. He came up with different ideas, several of which were just fantastic as well. This is the one he decided to go forward with. I also liked the ranging sword battle in the Savannah between two anthro warriors. Maybe someday that one will get done too.
I had to pull up the original to compare the two. His attention to detail is fantastic! The only significant difference is that god is naked in the furry one, but that seems fitting. If I was god I wouldn't wear clothes either! Also god is more feminine in your version, but that seems fitting for the creator.
Yes, even the paw reaching in from outside the frame, I did the same comparison today too...
That is amazing and cool as I recognized right away what it was inspired by.
I am soooo pleased with this. He is such a talented artist, but is sooo careful mostly what he sees are the errors. Such feedback I hope will help him see.
holy hell spotty, it'd be a waste not to have this framed on the wall! x3
And it will be. The BEST idea was a post that said "you should put this on the ceiling!"
IDK if it's a good idea dude, she seems to come with a LOT of 'baggage'.
Well, Eve or Steve or Rover... apparently has NOT been decided in this universe
oooooh, I love this! It reminds me of Simlodon! My favorite extinct mammal!
You always get such wonderful art done for yourself.

It was TOTALLY his idea too, when he was given an open artistic freedom commission, without due dates or limits.
I take no credit for the art concept or execution.

I remember seeing parts of this in the past, so glad it is now fully complete! Truly amazing (especially the fact whole thing was done in color pencil)
I have been saying this for a while now, but really do hope to meet you at this AC :3 !
Yay! Spots Spots Spots Spots Spots! I liek the serval that is reaching to the sabertoof too...
A very novel piece and redesign; I am glad it was so well received, it certainly deserves as much and more.
Thanks, and I agree. Teiirka's work is under appreciated, but among many artists I know they know him and admire his work.
That's cool! The artist started on this several years ago but who knows... great furry minds apparently think alike...
That is so beautiful Spotti, the photo does not do it justice to seeing it in person. you forgot to mention its about 1ft x 2 ft in actual size
This is true in nearly any reproduction. Now that I have the original, I will do a high res pic, and color balance correctly. And yes, it is over 2 feet long.
This is a really, really nice piece of art. And just as you mentioned, the anthropomorphization of the original artwork, was the thing that really made say: WOW!
What a great idea!
