This little fella paid a visit to my mother"s garden today. He wasn"t sure what he wanted to land on, the chives or the World"s Most Tenacious Violas (seriously, I have seen these flowers blooming right into December). I spent about 15 minutes waiting for it to land, then crept up to within inches of it for this photo. As I was lining up another shot an ant or small fly ran into it and scared it away.
