Ok so it's no secret I'm one of the worst SL photographers out there, especially when it comes to vendor photos - seriously.. I even studied photography in school.. but nope. Terrible.
Anyway, awful as I am at it, I really thought this was cute that they are cuddling each other for the photo :p
This is the template pose for the in world vendors (transparent in world).

I'm pretty good at photography on SL if ya ever would like help.
Thankyou.
the problem more comes from the quantity of the pictures I need to take. 20 shots all being exactly the same, with a minimal degree of eye movement. It's hard work, and uses all three screens. I have to be extremely careful not to move the camera, place prims to make the eyes of two avs lock onto - etc.
I used to do it with someone else - Kitty Catron, ( a great friend and beta tester) but it becomes next to impossible to co ordinate. These days I load up an alt and try to work through em.

hmm have you tried using a camera prim?
Meaning a prim with a script that sets the sitting avatar's camera to some values? Then you also need a secondary account, but at least you would not have to worry about the camera angle an position. as they would be fixed by the avatar sitting on it >_>

I wouldn't worry about the eyes too much, I helped Leo with the Fennec avatars he made, stood in one while he in the other and didnt move camera. I didn't care about the eyes, the pictures tend to be pretty small and no one really care about the eye direction :p as long as the rest of the body is in the right position lol
I should definetely try out how the head would work with my collie textures
