So, er, yeah. An upload actually made by me, shock and horror! I've mentioned before that whilst I may be an awful artist, I'm not too bad at spriting and pixel work. You may recognise the set of characters from this previous work I uploaded;

I guess I'll say a little about each one here, going from left to right.

First of all Vas. He was, as may be quite apparent, the most difficult to create. Normally with Vas I tend to add a highlight shade, which helps define the muscles and such more, however, this time however, as it was a new style, I wanted to be consistent with shade usage and such. Tried to counter this byy deepening the muscle ridges... though not really sure this payed off.

Second, Caek. Probably one of the three sprites I'm most proud of here. I honestly had to redo her body 4 or 5 times to get iit right, but after that everything sorta slotted together. And she certainly seems happy about it.

Dejero third, my friend Exer's character. I'll be honest, had a lot of difficulty with him and I'm still not happy with how he came out. A large part of the point of this style was to try and somewhat de-Sonicify the characters (that being where more of their origins lie). Unfortunately, this became quite difficult with this particular character... still, may try and revisit him.

Chris, another one of the three sprites I'm most happy with here. It was nice to experiment a bit with the legs in the style and I really got to have a play with her. Both fun to sprite and happy with the outcome. Can't lose!

Aaah, Shelia. She's actually the first character I did in the style, using her as a sort of signal point for the 'average' proportions in the style. Unfortunately, despite this, still not sure if I'm happy with her or not. Might revisit to just do some touching up...

Boa! My girlfriend's character and probably the male character I'm most happy with here. Not exactly sure why, but he's a real pleasure to work on. I blame the chest poof.

Leo, another friend of mine's character. A human! Shock gasp and horror! Honestly, not so sure if the style suits humans... I think I need to do some more work with this particular one. I dunno...
