Had an early stage of this sitting in my HD so figured I'd finish up. Originally the idea came from a headache induced nap where it was a very graphic style thing, but it eventually turned into this. Feather practice.

Spectacular work. I love the red rim lighting and the harpy eagle head plumage. Jaw dropping all around. :)
Man, I hate drawing feathers. xD Which is somewhat ironic for someone with a bird character... 9v9

I'm not perfectly sure since I picked this up incomplete from a while back (the eye/beak was done but little else) but it actually didn't take that long after starting it back up. When i'm not doing things for others I tend to be less anal about small things and work faster. I did most of it last night in about 4 hours or so (I was watching tv at the time too so i'm not really sure). Thank you though : )
