2021: This username is inactive and I no longer post art as Zyden.

I have decided to retire this gallery and my username Zyden to focus on other life goals. I had a very frightening health scare and major surgery during the worst of Covid, and it nearly ended me. That close call really got me thinking about my bigger life goals, and I reflected on the sociopaths, bullies and narcissists I allow in my orbit.

While I was recovering from ICU,
dysfunctional "friends" spent significant energy obsessing over my absence whilst I was ill, editing and reposting my art, spreading unsettling stories about my health (and suicide ?!?), and interfering with my online relationships. I refuse to engage in anyone's arguments among each other, and I will not entertain ridiculous rumours.

For my own well-being, I no longer share my personal artwork or move in the same online circles. I have no intention of sharing my life or work with these ugly people. If you see anyone posting as 'Zyden,' they are NOT me. If they are reposting my old art, you can email zyden[at]live.co.uk and it will be dealt with. Old accounts will not be revived. Some galleries will remain as frozen placeholders, to stop others taking my name and immitating me.
The name is officially dead.

Where have I gone? I instead accepted a work promotion and now focus on my career in healthcare and I am studying a 3 yr post-grad in medicine to become a prescriber.

Rest assured I am doing very well; I feel accomplished in my work and studies and I am surrounded by compassionate, energetic and positive people. The people I have evicted from my life have been told in no uncertain terms that they are not welcome in my life anymore.

To the good guys:
Some art may remain a while longer, but I will not be adding anything new. Please enjoy what remains for the time-being and thanks for the support these last 15 years.

If your name is Samantha Louise Houghton aka HamsterMasterSamster or her club of 40 yr old turtleknob tuggers, stop obsessing over what you irreparably destroyed. I have gone. The people around you are your own problem, not mine. You drag others down, and as I told you over a year ago, I'm done with you. I am not interested in your online feuds with children, or your weird obsession over my absence. It is not on me to help you with your psychological issues anymore. If you pester me in the slightest, I will not hesitate to expose you. Leave me and my art alone.
