I'm an ex-CGI 3d model artist.
I was in the field for ~16 years before medical conditions (primarily Cystic Fibrosis) prevented me from working entirely, even home-based jobs.
Nowadays I use the 3d skills along with advanced (not really expert imo) LSL scripting I learned to make very advanced fun stuff in Blender 2.49b.
I then upload/import most of it to Second Life to have fun and see them come to life.
