Fursuit suggestions?

So- ive decided I'm going to finally make a suit- but I'm having a hard time deciding what to make. My (only) Sona/character is a weird feral creature and im not sure an anthro version would look right. (I'd LOVE to make him, but can't see a good way.)
So instead I'm needing a few ideas.
No regular or fictional creature is outside the realm of possibility with two exceptions
1: No quad suit (I couldn't stand like that long)
2: no taurs (not enough room to make it.)
I'm considering:
Realistic Kangaroo (would end up about 7 ft tall, as I stand just under 6 ft)
Semi-realistic Mouse
Other ideas???
Give me your suggestions!
