Your Opinion on Artist Self-Inserts?

Does it ever bother you when an artist regularly inserts their sona into sexual situations with other characters they're drawing? -- like if the artist draws a whole buncha different characters in sexy situations, but several/many/all of them are doing sexy things with that artist's sona.
I know I'm certainly guilty of such things, as there's a buncha pics I've done of Vicky boning/getting boned by various characters other than her hubby.
Do you find that sort of self-insertion irritating or distracting? Does it make it harder for you to immerse yourself into the scenario knowing that it's a fantasy that's custom-designed for someone else? Or does it not matter to you as long as the sona is sexy too? XD
