~UC-Furs
This is the page of UC-Furs, the group for furs that go to any of the 10 University of California campuses (Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz)!
Our main purpose is to give all UC students, graduate or undergraduate, the chance to locate other furs that go to the same university, or help you find people in the same field or with the same academic interests. And for those still considering college, it's a good opportunity not only to meet people that you'll be going to school with, but also to get an idea of what campus life may be like or what to expect!
If you want any art put up on the page, I only ask that it be PG-13 rated or less and that it have it have some relevance to any of the UCs, whether it be art of your mascot or photos of campus.
Also, make sure it is your OWN art, you may suggest that I favorite something that is not yours, but please don't ask me to submit something that does not belong to you.

Hello, everyone... I owe you an apology

This is here,
I just wanted to apologize to everyone for ditching this account for two years. When I made this group, my intention was to give furs in our school system a way to connect to other people at their campuses and with the same academic interests, or for prospective students to see if they could get to an insider's perspective before making that final decision. It was meant to be a group to highlight the talents of our various members and give them a space for constructive criticism. That being said, I'm terribly disappointed in myself for letting it sit so long. I'm honestly surprised no one tried to pick the group up and run it themselves, you all seem like a bunch of proactive people.
This is my final year at UCI, and I have very little to do. I'm making a promise to you all now that I will check this page more than a few times per week, take suggestions for how to make better use of this space, respond to comments, post thing that you want me to post. I have no excuse. If I fail, however, I ask that someone who is dedicated and willing take my place as the page owner. I still believe that this page can serve a purpose, and I wouldn't want it to go to waste because no one wanted to manage it.
If you'd like to know why I've been so inactive on this page, I suggest you ask me in a private conversation, my personal page is no secret to any of you. I put it in both this journal and in the profile information.
I'll probably leave this journal up one day before I implement an idea sent to me by
read-the-wind some time after I stopped visiting this account: create journals for each of the campuses so people can comment and find others who go to their same university.
Thank you all for your attention and time, I hope you have a wonderful rest of the summer (or summer session). Get ready, cause move-in day and fall quarter/semester is coming up way sooner than you believe!
