Hello There!
This is a dedicated group for furs who use and love the messaging app Telegram, one of the best in its category, if not the best! :D
It's optional, but it would be awesome if you could include this group in your profile, so that others who use Telegram can join it too ^^
Here are some of its features:- Videos can be fully sent, without limit of time (unlike WhatsApp and its 2:50).
- Any type of file can be sent, and up to 1,5 GB.
- There is a Secret Chat option, which allows you to create peer-to-peer (P2P) chats with messages that auto-destroy themselves with a timer.
- Groups are up to 200 people.
- If you need more than 200 people in your group, Telegram has you covered. Your group will turn into a Super Group, with up to 5.000 people!
- Is totally free.
- 256-bits encryption.
- Material Design. (Android)
- Has a desktop version, which you can use independently of your phone.
- All the messages and files stay on the cloud, so you don't need to make constant backups or worry about them.
- Because of that, it also means you can log in your account through the web, another phone or another PC, and have everything the way you left.
- If you don't want to receive messages for some time, you can log out as well.
- There's an embedded password option inside the app, so you can protect your messages.
- Username options are available, so people can use their usernames to find each other, instead of phone numbers like on WhatsApp.
- Telegram warns you whenever someone in your contacts joins it as well.
- It has stickers, and you can even make your own. Furry stickers!
- Saving media in your gallery is optional. With Telegram, you can download things to see it without downloading in your gallery too, keeping your phone cleaner.
- It has an embedded video player for when someone sends you a link with a video, so that you can watch it right there, without leaving the app.
- It has a photo editor which you can use before sending a picture.
- Channels: Now you can send the same message to several people like in a FA journal, and make your channel public or private. You can also see how many people visualized your messages.
- Support for 3D touch on the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, with the addition of Split View and Slide Over for the newest iPads, and Spotlight search support for iOS 9 users. iPhone 6s users can now open recent chats from their home screens and Peek into chats from the chats list without opening them. Also added more functions to the Apple Watch app, like quick replies, access to channels and bots and improved speed, plus a special button for bot commands. (iOS)
- Support for Android 6.0 Marshmallow features, such as Google Now on Tap, Direct Share and the use of Figerprints for Passcodes. (Android)
- Updated with new cache management options so that Telegram can take up nearly zero space on your phone, even if you‘re using it heavily.
- Gifs can be sent and received even faster (up to 20x faster), and you can add your gifs to a dedicated tab for and easier sharing.
- You can now easily send bot-generated content to any chat, group or channel – even if the bot is not a member. Simply type the @ username of an inline bot in the message field in any chat, then type some keywords. The bot will offer you relevant content that you can send in one tap.
