Well, life's been busy for me. Especially since the last journal I did. Work especially has been hectic what with having to work several months worth of overtime last year due to staffing issues and most recently working six days a week on a 1am-9am shift for about three months this year so far, on the one hand it means I'm exhausted as all hell and it's only April. On the other hand it does mean the last several paychecks have been pretty nice, so I guess I can't complain too much.

Privately I still continue to write out some short stories and some of them I might actually post up one day and most recently I've been able to keep to my goal of practicing art consistently and almost every day. (Those night shifts don't leave much for people to do. :p)

I'm getting close to the point where I might actually be able to start showing off a few bits and pieces I've been working on, though admittedly my art is still light years away from being considered 'good'. But we all have to start from somewhere.

On the other hand my writing improves and I have a few stories that I feel actually sort of comfortable with posting in the next month or two. Writing for me is something I've sadly kept private despite how much I love it and want to share. But nothing I wrote ever felt like stuff that I could share or that other people might enjoy. But lately I seem to have hit on a few ideas that could change that.

Till then I might as well as upload some more artwork I'd gotten commissioned in the meantime.
