A little dnd idea
One day...in a cave high up on a mountain overseeing a town...a powerful dragon lived, she had just laid eggs as well! The expecting mother was very happy....until one day a band of adventurers were hired too steal her eggs. As their shells were indestructible and couldn’t hatch without their mother. So they scattered the eggs across the land. Heartbroken, she’s now kidnapping townsfolk out of revenge....or so the town thinks...A party travels too her lair...and finds her caring for the Kidnaped townsfolk like a mother.
But she’s also very protective, and being an insanely strong dragon (each claw does one d8 slashing damage EACH, and can strike twice in one attack witch means rolling 4 d8 per hit.
You have too either fight her (most likely ending in a TPK) or promise too find her eggs and bring them back, for every egg saved she will let one of her “new babies” go free.
As families are without their children and some jobs are unable to be done. Such as farming or blacksmithing. so for each egg they return they are able too purchase better items, better weapons, and special supplies.
