My name is Anders, but a common nickname is Bienie! I'm from Belgium.
I'm 25 years old, and I love drawing animals! I speak English and Dutch fluently, and French and German non-fluently.
Don't be afraid to interact with me, I will be happy to reply! That being said, I'm not a RPer, and won't reply to roleplaying.
My icon was made by Spiritaelia on DeviantArt!

Funky little life update
Continuation from my last journal.
We haven't seen each other in a minute! For the past two weeks, I've been working from home. Which has been... okay-ish. Unfortunately, less and less work has been coming in due to the social distancing rules, and finally, yesterday I heard my contract wouldn't be renewed. There simply isn't anything to do, and they can't keep everyone on the team active. While not unexpected, this was hard for me to hear. It was nice to have something to do at all, and it was definitely nice to be able to save up. They did say they were hoping to take me back when things clear up and work starts coming back, given that I am still available then and that the company is able to hire. While this is not a guarantee, I sincerely hope they do, as I've really enjoyed the work environment and my colleagues. I really hope this isn't the last I see of them.
So that's where I am now. I will be on the lookout for new opportunities, however, with the country on semi-lockdown and many businesses temporarily laying people off, it is unlikely I'll be working for the weeks (month? months?) to come. It sucks a lot, but I know there was nothing I could have done to prevent this. Some things are simply out of our hands (wash them). I don't know what my days will look like for a while. To tell you the truth, I haven't used my personal laptop in the past week. I will of course change that eventually and get back to drawing, I've just not been in the right mindset. Luckily I don't owe anyone art at the moment, so there's no rush. This whole push to be productive at home is tiring, but I do want to find some activities to do, to keep me occupied. Including commissions, to earn me a little pocket money while full time job opportunities are on hold.
Also, I've pretty much spent my every free hour since the 20th on Animal Crossing. Escapism! I genuinely enjoy the game, and I'm honestly glad to have it in these trying times. With all that's happening in the world, on the news, it's honestly nice to see my timeline full of Animal Crossing to lighten the mood and distract me. Bless!
