I'm British; lurked for years; felt the creative urge for a change; now I'm here 'properly'. My drawing skills are so bad, they make stick-men look like a Rembrandt in comparison. My writing skills are better though, and I hope to improve.
I devour Sci-Fi books with reckless abandon and love every minute; ditto mystery-thrillers. Other books I also read with only a little less avidity.
I'm a massive Dungeons and Dragons fan, both player and GM. But, my favourite gaming system has to be one that almost nobody, to my great dismay, has heard of - a little gem called 'Fireborn', largely because the central game mechanic is playing a human character who turns into a kick-ass dragon from time to time. Anyone who likes that sort of thing - or just wants a fun, reasonably elegant gaming system should give it a look; it's great fast-paced fun once it gets flowing.
*Ahem* But that's enough shameless plugging (spread the word!)

Also: ilovecritique writersblock - Because fun though ego-stroking is, it leads to complacency, which leads to lower standards, which leads to the dark side... at least, I think that's how it goes. In other words, constructive criticism is much appreciated. Nothing is ever perfect. Most things aren't even close.

Snektember is over. Welcome to OKOBOLDTERFEST!
The Autumn season is well entrenched in this hemisphere. The huddled masses need some goodwill and cheer; and yet Snektember has finished. What shall we do, I hear you cry?
So I give you... OKOBOLDTERFEST - because one week of kobolds per year just isn't enough, let's have an entire celebratory month! Perhaps you can try some of the "Local Brew"...
Spread the good word of kobolddom, everyone, and join in! XD
(Slight edit to the name to avoid confusion with Octopi >_> )
