Hello‚ I'm Puppet!
I'm just a furry goth chick who likes cute‚ weird‚ and scary things in equal measure․
You can often find me on VR Chat. If your 18 send me a note on here and maybe we can meet up and chat. I'm usually pretty open so don't be shy. I love meeting new furs! ^ω^
If you want to talk to me but don't know what to say‚ here are some topics I enjoy․ I really like TTRPGs that are not D&D 3rd/5th ed or Pathfinder․
I also enjoy; 3rd and 4th ed 40k‚ Warhammer Fantasy, BattleTech‚ video games‚ VR Chat, exploring (IRL or VR)‚ BDSM, reading, and writing․ Any of these topics will get me chatting with you real quick․
I gladly accept SFW gift art of Puppet but I politely request you ask before doing NSFW gift art (I'm very selective).
If you share any of the artwork I commission you must link back to either my upload or the artist's. This includes things like Discord servers. Do not share my commissions without sourcing them!
Do not role play as my characters or claim them as your own!
CONTENT WARNING
Though I prefer SFW, I will on occasion upload NSFW art!

A Renewed Outlook.

Hello everyone!
I wanted to write another journal expressing my views on some things regarding the furry fandom. I went to Midwest Furfest for the first time. Though I have been to conventions before, this was my first furry convention. Not only did I have the most fun I’ve had in years and met some great people, it was really the boost I needed for my mental health.
I have been a furry for a long time. I joined the fandom in grade eleven which was back in the year 2007. Through that time I have seen it grow and have its ups and it’s downs but I had always considered myself a fan through it all. By the time I wrote this journal I was probably at my lowest regarding the fandom. Since then I have found some great SFW artists and people. That alone gave me hope for the fandom. I still stand by what I said but I’m nowhere near as cynical as I was when I wrote that. I still enjoy NSFW and even have kinky art ideas in my head but finding a nice balance between SFW and NSFW has been great.
Unfortunately this still didn’t solve an even bigger problem I was having with the fandom and of no fault of its own. That is regarding my age. As you can probably guess from the year I was in grade eleven, I’m a bit on the olderside. At the time of this journal I turn thirty one in two months. This might not seem like a big deal to most of you but it was for me. When most of the furries I now meet online are all in their early to mid twenties; I started to feel like the weird old guy who didn’t put his toys away and grow up.
This is where MFF comes in. Actually seeing all kinds of furries from a variety of ages was amazing! I saw that I’m not the only older fur; there were plenty of furries much older than me. I no longer felt like the old man in the room. I know the fandom is older than me but actually meeting people who have been around for decades renewed my interest in the fandom. I realised it’s ok to grow older and still enjoy the things you like and not feel like a manchild. So if you too are an older furry and feel like you might be getting too old for this sort of thing, stop that! It’s ok to love what you love!
Regarding MFF itself, I had a great time. I was really appreciative of their COVID-19 measures. I ate some great food while I was in Chicago. Seriously if you’re there check out Adobe Gila's, highly recommend it! I also met some fantastic people who I can’t wait to see again next year. Special shout out to a certain fruit bat ! 10/10 would let him tie me up in shibari again. I had a great time; my husbean and I will definitely be going again next year.
That’s all for now; I mainly wanted to share my renewed love for being a furry. Thank you for taking the time to read this. What do you think of the fandom? Have you been to any furcons and if so, which ones? Let me know below; I love chatting about this stuff!
