*** Hello all! I encouraged all of you to read these before commenting on my profile: ***
Please avoid doing too much of these:
- Drop "thank you for the watch/ fav" comments on this page.
I always have busy schedules. So maintaining my shouts will only add onto the difficult schedule. Please understand.
- Ask for free art and requests.
Artists tend to value their work. Unless specified, asking artists to draw your stuff for free is generally disrespectful.
Artists are people who use their profession to have a shelter; I'd suggest you ask for commissions.
- Ask me to watch you/fav your art and/or demand me be your friend.
Many people have been approached in this way, in which this is deemed as ineffective.
If you truly like someone or value a relationship, you should build relationships over time.
Friendships aren't things that you can demand or make within a few seconds. So that's my word-of-wisdom to fellow visitors.
But feel free to do the following:
- Feel free to ask me if I am going to do art trades and/or commissions.
This depends on my free time; subject to availability.
- Think before you write your comments and/or feedback.
The worst sin you can commit is to write carelessly, in which you cannot take back what you wrote/said.
Yes, there is an Edit function, but first impressions count!
- Provide intelligent, humorous, insightful feedback.
I like to be amused by new perspectives.
*** All personal questions should be phrased as a Note. Please PM me, so that I can answer such queries. But most likely, I don't always cater to too many niche interests. ***
I have been drawing since my childhood days, but however I recently want to open a new avenue of displaying my works of digital art to the world, not just Singapore.
I do like the occasional Funny Animal, RPG characters, sci-fi characters, kemono artwork, as well as dig pop culture and comic art once in a while.
I generally try to keep my setuff within PG or PG-13, but once in a rare instance would I draw muscle-themed works.
But on the whole, I do mostly vector/digital/graphic design-ish artwork.
I also adore Kim Jung Gi and Borris Vallejo/Julie Bell.
Please do say "Hi!" in case if you are bored, know me (somehow) or if you want to be smacked by a baby seal cub. The last part being random.

I am now available on Behance...
It's been a while since I last posted here.
I updated my graphic design projects portfolio.
This time, I uploaded my creation process for a retro games-themed magazine.
It's on Behance, I document it a fair bit: https://www.behance.net/gallery/810.....agazine-Design
...
Just to brief here, I was professionally trained as graphic designer - though my trade of work is primarily front-end web development - about 2 years ago.
I felt that bringing things to life via visuals was something I am keen on.
So I embarked on graphic design despite the software/computer background knowledge I came from previously.
I took to updating my Behance portfolio and online presence a bit more seriously...
So if you are curious, feel free to drop by: https://www.behance.net/poilapan
I am quite open to critique if you wish to provide on my current line of work.
Hope all's doing well!
Take care everyone!
