Payment must be made UP FRONT unless otherwise agreed upon.
If I'm going to be working for you, I expect immediate payment before I begin my work. All of my commissions are offered/charged in USD via PayPal. I do not accept any other type of premium points or currencies. If a price is not listed for the type of commission you are inquiring about, the price will be stated in our communication.
Refund policy
In general, I do not offer refunds for services rendered. Once you submit payment, the transaction is considered complete and I will begin work on the goods you payed for. Don't commission me if you're not in a proper financial situation to be doing so.
Please provide proper visual references!
When submitting your character to be drawn, I need an actual reference of some variety to work with- preferably with a usable color palette. Please don't link me to a collection of countless artist's renditions of your character, as that may lead to confusion on how I should interpret their design in my style. You can also provide things like pictures of outfits/poses that you want me to replicate or draw inspiration from, but my main sticking point is the character reference. If there's any other notes you want to add for me as I get to work, be sure to include them on the order form!
Communication & Process
As I progress, I'll send you a sketch to verify before I continue. You'll be entitled to one free major edit/revision. I'll try my best to notify you of my progress as it's made, but when consulting you I require responses as swiftly as possible. If I'm to continue on my queue, I need confirmation on changes or progress on your piece in a timely manner. If you aren't going to be active on FA or Twitter for me to contact you, please provide me with another means of reaching you!
It's also worth noting that your commission could take a day, a week, a month, or even over a month. Sometimes, I just have a hard time drawing, or I'm busy with school. Patience is appreciated, and I'll do my best to keep you updated if such events come to pass that delay your commission for longer than expected.
Once It's done, it's yours!
After I deliver you your piece, it's yours to do with as you please. You can re-upload it, edit it, share it, whatever fancies you. I only ask that should you post it far and wide that you either give credit to me as the author, or link to my page. Additionally, please do not use my work for further commercial purposes unless this was discussed during the commission process.
I can use your piece to advertise future commissions.
If I complete a piece for you, I have permission to use the final (watermarked) product to promote future sales. These watermarked images will be posted publicly on my account. If you wish for me to post the completed product on my account without a watermark, this can be negotiated.
I won't mimic another artist's style.
If you link me to a different artist and ask me to draw in their style, I'm going to direct you to that artist's contact information. I'm here to do art in my style, not someone else's. That said, if you are looking for a piece to mimic an OFFICIAL style associated with a franchise or intellectual property, feel free to inquire.
I will NOT take commissions for minors.
There is a lot of legal issues in regards to taking money from minors. Even if you have permission from your parent/guardian, I don't have the guarantee that your business is your own. That's only the half of it, but it's easier to leave it at that. No, I won't take your business if you are under the age of 18.
I may decline any commission for any reason.
If I'm not comfortable with the subject matter of the commission, characters involved, your behavior or conduct, I have the right to decline your commission. Below you will find what I am/am not comfortable with creating:
