Well I have attended MFF for the first time. Has also been my first fur con I've been to other than furry fiesta in quite several years. Not sure exactly what to make of it. Had some delicious food, which is always my favorite part of cons, so that didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the shows I saw at the con. However, while the con itself wasn't bad to any degree, I also didn't really find it worth my effort to attend. Everyone seemed too busy, I wasn't really able to effectively meet / make friends with anyone, and even the friends I had seemed to not be able to stick around for too long. This seems to be the fault of big cons, and while I heard that MFF has a small con feel, I disagree somewhat but it is easier to run across people, opposed to Anthrocon.

I suited once on Saturday, and it was not for the parade or photoshoots. I walked to Quiznos in suit, and walked around the con once in suit afterwards. I have to say though, suiting at furry cons is boring compared to suiting at anime cons or other public events. Halloween trick or treaters at my house certainly spoiled me as MFF was a tremendous change of pace from that. It's too normal to suit at furry cons, to the point to where it's not really worth my discomfort and effort to do. Not to say I don't like suiting anymore, I love suiting, just not at furry cons :p

I really enjoyed running across friends I haven't seen since Anthrocon 2009. If it weren't for having them to run across, I would have gone nuts.

Con hotel is amazing. No complaints.

At this time I do not intend to go next year, depends if more people I actually know from my city go with me. This was supposed to be the plan this year, except 3 people seemed to change their minds leaving me to travel solo. I met up with Mahadri and roomed with him though, if it weren't for him I wouldn't have even bothered going. Overall it was fun, but underwhelming. Next up is furry fiesta which I really am looking forward to, as it remains my favorite con I've ever gone to and only con I've been to every year since it started. Then maybe Wild Nights again, along with local anime cons next year. :)
