~Lapism
RABBITS
The First Book of Lapism is a series of short stories written by Phil Geusz. Much like Aesop's Fables, these
stories teach many valuable life lessons as well as present a philosophy to readers in the form of the
characters' religion. In the book, the protagonists of the stories go through a genetic transformation into
Rabbit folk- the reasons for this being manyfold. First, the transformation itself affords certain changes to be
made in their brains, pushing toward the "good" end of the moral spectrum. Second, it's a strong public
statement made with every breath they take that no one can possibly miss. Being a Lapist means a
commitment to higher standards; to being kinder, gentler and more loving; to the ideals of peace &
harmony. Moreover, the wearing of a Rabbit's body is a constant reminder of that commitment.
Our goal (our modus operandi, rather) is bringing the essence of Lapism into the real world to enrich our
lives through it's practices, reaching always to greater heights of goodness within ourselves.
We turn no one away- we make time for both the casually curious and the earnestly interested alike. All we
ask is that we're accepted as who we are and what we've chosen to be. The inevitable question: "What is
Lapism?" is a difficult one to answer properly. "Read the books and you'll know" seems the easiest, albeit a
bit unfair. Lapism is about doing your best. It's about tapping the inner potential for good that lies within us
all. Lapism is about family- the immediate as well as the extended. And we are all family here.

SPECIAL THANKS
This idea was created by a man named Mr. Phil Geusz. He is a brilliant writer and has infused his
masterpiece with something that no one person should be without- morals.
His work may have started out as science fiction, but much like Aesop's Fables, it's message is pure and all
but forgotten to the world in which we live. He is a brilliant writer and his stories are full of hope and
inspiration, as well as colorful characters that remind us to cherish the little things. His stories illustrate that
when hope is all but gone, you can still count on your family. And that in this day & age, family means more
than ever.
Thank you, Mr. Geusz, for bestowing unto us this gift and we sincerely hope that our endeavor to make
Lapism a reality (if only fundamentally) doesn't offend you.
