I just wanted to take a moment to say "thank you!" to everyone who has recently followed me here.

Back around 2009 I began drawing digitally, I spent hours practicing and posting, and I had a wonderful time doing it, over a course of time though, the real world stuck it's ugly little head into my little furry fantasy world and I slowly got out of that habit of practice. Shortly thereafter a massive change came to my way of life when I left to join the Navy, where I have been ever since. Due to the demands at work, and constantly being out to sea I essentially gave up on my artwork and in a way, I stopped dreaming. I stopped imagining things in my mind that made me go "OOOH I NEED TO DRAW THAT" and everything drifted to the wayside.

I slowly forgot about my artwork, becoming simply a regular Navy dudebro, poking my head into conventions here and there but not being super active in the fandom. This last year has changed that tremendously. This last year was a year for reflection and meditation on not only who I am, but who I was and who I want to be. I've been working to adjust accordingly and finally I've hit my stride. For the first time in over 7 years I find my imagination and urge to draw flare to life, so I picked up an iPad and began drawing! What started out as a couple sketches here, and a couple headshots there turned into me wanting nothing more than to get home and pick up my pen.

I hope it stays that way, it's been such a freeing experience, honestly. I kinda gained something back I had lost a long time ago and I'm still basking in that glow of self-fulfillment.
