Early this morning, our family dog, Toby, was having problems standing up and moving. It eventually got bad to the point where he couldn’t walk or stand up on his hind legs. Once my mom managed to get him to a vet around 7:30 AM, and he was diagnosed with a collapsed disc in his back. The vet said surgery is the best option and it would need to be done within 48 hours.

My mom is a disabled firefighter and paramedic, who can’t work anymore, and my younger sister has a health condition which constantly lands her in the hospital and has caused my mom to amass large debt. I barely make any money as it is, myself.

My mom has asked me to post a link to the donation drive for Toby’s surgery, and I was more than willing to do just that.

I have never asked for any money or aide, but Toby has been in our family for the past years, ever since we adopted him. Which is I am posting this and hoping to spread the word for and get help for him.

Even a one dollar donation towards Toby is very appreciated! Even just posting the link in your own journal entry, Facebook page, Twitter, Tumblr blog, any kind of personal blog, social network site, is enough for us, as it will help spread the word out for Toby and his situation! I am asking this to every person on FA that see's this! Any help you guys can offer is appreciated! My mom just wants to save his life, and get his back legs working to the point were he can function properly enough to where he won’t suffer and have to be put to sleep!
