- This is a WIP. Sorry for the emptiness. -
---Triiahrx ---
Those who govern the cities of the West Continent. Each city has a small council of Triiahrx. They are typically the oldest, wisest, strongest, or most respected individuals within the city.
Issues within the city are put to a vote that includes all members of the council.
To become a Triiahrx, an existing member of the council must become aware of your deeds/triumphs/etc and suggest that you be included. All members will then vote. If more than half agree, a formal invitation to join the council will be sent to the individual.
---The Guard ---
The governing force in the East Continent. The guard is a military of sorts that have a similar leadership hierarchy. The leader of the Guard is called the "High Guardrich" (who is always a red diamondclad). The High Guardrich has two subordinates called the "Fuehrich". Each Fuehrich has four subordinates known as "Achrich", who are each in charge of some number of "Heinrich". Each village or colony has one Heinrich stationed there and each Heinrich has their own troop of 15-50 standard guard troops. They were originally started as a group dedicated to guarding and protecting all East continent settlements from the large and dangerous native fauna, but have since then branched out and become law enforcement as well as hired bodyguards for travelers.
---Ketuli ---
Ketuli are the koorin clan cheiftans. Each of the four koorin clans has one (rarely two) Ketuli who are in charge of the clan. The title of Ketuli is typically passed down to their children and in a case where no children exist, passed to their lover, sibling, etc.
---Soilitians ---
Originating in the East Continent, Soilitians are those who practice or believe in Soilinity. Soilinity is the belief that soil is essentially sacred and is the source of all life, as it provides food, shelter, and support. Some soilitians believe that terrible beasts live underground and that those who disrespect the planet and the soil are disrespecting the home of these beasts. They believe these beasts can cause disasters to those who disrespect them. Soilitians are known to practice and endorse gardening, crop rotation, reforestation, and other environmental causes. Soilitian scholars live together in large monastery-like stone buildings where they study herbalism, botany and earth sciences. They dedicate their lives to spreading environmental messages, planting trees, growing community gardens, etc. Those who live in these complexes wear solid golden collars. These collars are meant to show their involvement in Soilinity as well as to keep their heads from ever looking downward, an act that is meant to convey their utmost respect for the soil and the beasts that supposedly dwell there. Soilitians also always wear shoes or other foot coverings, as it is considered extremely disrespectful and perverse to tread your bare feet on the soil. This custom is widely accepted in the East continent and most koori wear some sort of foot covering whether they are soilitians or not.
---The Guild ---
The Guild is a group dedicated to the building trades. Those who are members of the guild practice one or more trades including carpentry, construction, architecture, mechanics, and/or engineering. Members of the guild typically attend a guild academy (the largest being Ironwood) where they study and practice their profession under higher ranking guild members. Apprentices are at the lowest rank. They are basically students who are still completing their studies at the academy. Journeyers are the middle rank. As the name implies, they have left the academy but still operate under a Master. Journeyers travel the world and work their profession in order to improve. Masters are at the highest rank. They have worked many years in their skillset and are considered professionals. They may work outside or inside an academy, and may train apprentice or journeyers if they please.
The Guild originated in the East Continent, but has become prominent in the West Continent as well. Both the East and West continent operate the same way, but have different uniforms.

---Yungrex ---
The Yungrex (meaning: "Blood Outcasts") are a small colony of exiles who have gathered together on the northern shore of the west continent, northwest from Ashnikoex and just southwest of the Pae'oku islands.
They are a group mostly made up of petty theives, sexual deviants, the mentally insane, addicts, murderers and those with otherwise violent or dangerous tendencies.
Despite being such violent, despicable and otherwise unpleasant individuals, they don't have much hope to survive in the wilds of the west continent.
It's much easier to kill a fellow koorik than it is to kill two story monsters. In fact, without the great walls and vast "strength in numbers" that living in the cities provide, these terrible individuals are no more than socially inept snacks waiting to happen.
In their desperation, the Yungrex colony was established. Koorik outcasts from all four great cities (as well as a few runaways, individuals in hiding, and escaped convicts from other races)dwell here and work together.
In an attempt to make up for their lack in numbers, they try to look as colorful, shocking and intimidating to the indiginous wildlife as possible.
Painting themselves with bright colored dyes and powders in confusing and grotesque patterns, decorating themselves with the teeth and bones of scavenged carrion, and/or carrying large, terrifying (but otherwise, mostly useless) weapons of supposed brutality.
---Conserf ---
Whereas rulebreakers in the West continent are exiled, not all of them in the East Continent are so lucky. There are no jails in the East that can support life sentences. And the death penalty is considered barbaric and saved only for when it is deemed completely necessary. Those who break an outstanding law in the East Continent (murder, egg/child napping, rape, etc) will instead be offered to the victim/victim's family to be used in servitude. Should the victim or their family refuse this offer (as is often the case given the nature of the crime) they will either be auctioned off, or given to the Guard to use as they please. These condemned servants are called conserfs. They will remain chained at the ankles and arms for the rest of their lives in service to others. A fate that most of them consider worse than death.
