Well that and some miserable back pains. Not skeletal in nature luckily, with all signs pointing towards just needing to stretch more often when I can. Still loves to flare up around the shoulder/back muscles after typing for too long though, bleh.

That and a whole lot of self reflecting, to summarize...time flies, don't it?

I can still vividly recall old internet memes from the 2000s, when everyone rushed to create webcomics, games, or a recognizable cast of characters. When DeviantArt was once a hub for genuine, professional artists and writers for shows, before it became overrun with AI-generated art and money schemes. Or heck, when Tumblr and Anime/Art facebook groups where a thing.

It's sad having seen so many inspiring artists leave over time and to look around and realize just how much the landscape has really changed since then. It makes a dorky guy like me feel lonely, realizing there are fewer people to share nostalgia about old games, movies, and art that inspired them.

And then of course, there's the bitterness of having spent a decade trying to please everyone else while never quite feeling reciprocated, especially during the times when I needed it most. Only to sigh and move on regardless because hey, better than sulking on bitter memories or "what could have been.".

In short. I've come to accept this isn't the same community I joined years ago and that really, I should focus on myself a lot more from now on. . .So why haven't I quit?

Welp, I still like making and sharing characters I made for others to see, as well as writing description stories and so on. Maybe even one day I can even make a CYOA style story with them someday?

Eh, emphasis on maybe. Till then, it's still a fun hobby I like to do so expect me to still be around expect some uploads soon~. (Well so long as this back nerve pain doesn't annoy me too much anyway :P.)
