Hi. I've been in the fandom about 10 years and I'm occasionally seen in forums and yahoo groups and regularly attend Anthrocon. I listed myself as an anthro artist but I'm not all that good at it so if I post something and you have a suggestion for improvement, please feel free to let me know. I also write and am currently working on my own site (only 10 years behind schedule and counting!). I also fiddle around with Lightwave and DAZ Studio so you may eventually see some 3d stuff.

I watched Why Trump Won last night and while it did a good job of covering the more subtle and technical parts of how the campaign was run, it did not talk about a couple of items that it should have covered.
1) Democrats: get off the repackaged socialism trip. While that sort of works in urban communities, to the small towns and rural areas it means having the government take the money you worked hard for and give it to someone else. They didn't buy into that last November and they aren't going to next election either. The utopian dream of a socialist world government is just a dream. Even if it were somehow enacted, all it would accomplish would be installing a different bunch of incompetent crooks running the government.
2) Democrats. All the social issues, environmentalism etc. can't touch jobs and income. People want to raise their kids in a safe, comfortable environment in a decent home. Talking to someone about social issues when they're having trouble putting food on the table is completely pointless except for the truly obsessed.
3) Both parties. Trump was able to make a run because the choices given us by the two major parties were so abysmal that a lot of voters went for Trump just to see how fucked up things would get with him. That, combined with the contempt felt towards Dems and Hillary, were enough to win.
4) Republicans. Trump snuck past your big 'ol machine, didn't he? You pushed money towards Bush the Younger eight years ago over a much better candidate in John McCain and we got , well, we got whatever those eight years were. Kind of what the the Democrats did with Hillary this last election. Tough luck Bernie.
5) Both parties. The amazing arrogance of the party leadership in thinking that people don't get what is going on and can be tricked into voting on hot button issues only. People are more informed than you think. You are not better or smarter than the rest of us and we won't blindly follow your BS.
6) In general. Where are the leaders? Where are the people who can rationally talk things over and reach a compromise? The Democrats no longer have leaders like John Kennedy, Tip O'Neil or Hubert Humphrey. The Republicans don't have a Barry Goldwater, Nelson Rockefeller or Ronald Reagan. My God, you don't even have a Richard Nixon.
Okay, end of the rant. Maybe next election we can just sell lottery tickets. In the meantime, just keep telling yourself; 'It's only a Zucker Bros. movie, It's only a Zucker Bros. movie.'
