While today is a day one would try and prank people, there are times when it backfires compleately.

Today's example is Fchan, for April Fools Day they decided to change things up by directing all of the image board links to the female board. So no one could go to the male board, the alternative board etc....they could only go to the female board.

Not surprisingly, many people weren't too fond of the prank. In a matter of moments the female board was filled with a crapload of different threads, males, a whole lot of weird stuff etc.

It pretty much escaladed to the point where the boards are now shut down replaced with this message.

"Due to the immaturity of the fchan community to deal with a simple and harmless April Fools joke initiated by the staff of fchan,
I have decided to shut down access to the site for the remainder of the day."

There's also a pic of some anime girl with bloodstains on her neck and dress, and right under the pic it reads.

"You did it to yourselves."

Over on Fchan's twitter it also reads. "Why are you all so touchy about your furry porn?"

For me this is the kind of prank that might have sounded like a good idea, though considering what was involved and who was being pranked...it wasn't going to end well.

Plain and simple, for many people Porn is serious business...and when one denies them what they want, things are going to get ugly real fast.

It's like if FA tried a prank where no one could access any Adult Content, while some would laugh at the joke...many would riot.

Moral of the story? Don't screw around with ones Porn, unless your willing to handle the drama to come.
