I think I finally figured out colors and a pattern for a protogen of my own after remembering the blue tailed skink. Ive already got a decent bit done at this point but it seems so much harder to draw reasoning for this pattern I guess being that it just suits me so well. I like dull/natural colors but at the same time want something that sticks out without being too flashy. Just like the mostly dull colors of the blue tailed skink with its beautiful patterns and splashes of red and blue
