ποΈ In my teenage years I have been blessed to have received some cherished pieces of gift art, and to have been able to participate in some art trades with folks who were interested in exchanging visual art for music.
ποΈ Regretfully my participation in the art side of the furry fandom as anything but a lurker waned for the past decade or so.
π¨ But as of 2022, my life situation has changed and I now have the means, motive and opportunity to becoming more active in the furry fandom again, including finally commissioning art!

ποΈ Though I made halfhearted attempts as a young adult (which are already in my FA gallery as scraps), I made it my 2023 new year's resolution to seriously start practicing my drawing.

Where in the world is Cygne?!

Hello old friends!
I dropped off the face of the FA planet but hopefully I am really back this time. I went to university and then went to Japan which is where I am now. O_O
I don't have a keyboard here and my laptop doesn't have my old songs or music software but I want to get back into composing classical music. I think a good place to start is to try to find some of the people who were so kind and supportive of me so long ago. If you're here, I love you! You guys are an inspiration. Once I comb through the heaps of ancient yiff and <SUBMISSION DELETED BY OWNER> left in my submissions queue since I was last here, I look forward to listening to some of your works that I've missed.
In case you were wondering what I was doing during my hiatus from FA, I composed some My Little Pony themed stuff which can be found on this SoundCloud - https://soundcloud.com/cygne-1

But to be honest I haven't been composing nearly as much as I used to be. I've been dealing with some personal issues including depression for a long time, and looking back on my days when I was churning out piece after piece and seeing the support I got on here and the challenge to always be better -- I think I need to start up again.
Can anyone recommend some good FLOSS or cheap software for composing classical stuff? I've been using LMMS for electronic music but it doesn't seem to great for classical stuff. I miss my old sound library and my copy of Finale!~
Anyway, It's 2 AM here and I should sleep before I ramble further. I miss the furry composers community and I hope I can reintegrate myself into my longtime home here. :)
